The TQ-RAM™ is an accessory for the TMT™ (Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet) designed to apply precise, targeted pressure without the need for hands, either directly or indirectly, to control bleeding. This capability provides a clear advantage for users of the TMT compared to other tourniquet systems.

Not all injuries are suitable or appropriate for tourniquet use, and most hemostatic gauzes require between one and three minutes of direct pressure to achieve hemostasis. [1]

In emergency situations, rapid patient movement or the need to perform other critical interventions may make it difficult to maintain continuous direct pressure.
