Quick, simple and safe!
The cutting tool S-CUT QE has been specially developed for those who need to cut through different materials quickly and safely on many different types of occasion. The security principle of S-CUT QE builds on the patent pending technique that during several years has been used on corresponding tools intended to emergency rooms, ambulances, rescue teams and military defence in large parts of the world. In many situations S-CUT QE completely replaces scissors, knives and other cutting tools.
The S-Cut QE Emergency Cutting Tool features the same blade and cutting ability as it's proven sister products but in a new lightweight, fibreglass reinforced plastic handle at a much lower and more economical price.
This new design is a disposable cutting tool but only requires replacing once the blade becomes fully worn. Once an area of the blade is worn, the blade can be rotated to the next 'joggle' point, once all joggle points are used the tool is disposed of for recylcing and replaced.
How to use the S-CUT QE:
- Pull the tool by hand towards you, so the material that is to be cut passes between the cutting blade and the plastic support.
- If the material is thick, avoid snatching. Jiggle the tool carefully lateral while keep on pulling towards you with an even tension.
Rotation of the cutting blade:
- The cutting blade remains still when the tool is in use and when the cutting face has been torn and in need of change, rotate the blade manually.
- Grab the centre screw and rotate it anticlockwise until you hear a click or until you sense that you pass a joggle. When the blade has been full circle rotated the tool is worn out and should be disposed for recycling.
Safety First:
- The cutting blade is very sharp and must be handled with great care.
- Make sure the work area is free so you do not risk cutting into something unintentionally.
